We are looking for a talented and experienced Java Developer to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance backend applications and services using Java and modern frameworks. You will work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other technical teams to build reliable solutions, integrate with third-party systems, and continuously improve the performance and scalability of our technology platform.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and services using Java.
- Build robust and maintainable applications using Spring and Spring Boot.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and backend services that integrate with frontend applications and third-party systems.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases to design, query, and optimize data storage solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, testable, and efficient code following modern software development practices.
- Develop integrations with external services, APIs, and third-party platforms.
- Analyze application performance and troubleshoot technical issues to improve reliability and scalability.
- Implement automated testing and contribute to maintaining high standards of code quality.
- Work with cloud platforms and cloud-based services to deploy and operate backend applications.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver complete solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes and technical standards.
- Stay up to date with Java, Spring, cloud technologies, and modern backend development practices.
What we're looking for
- Proven professional experience developing backend applications with Java.
- Strong knowledge of Java and object-oriented programming principles.
- Hands-on experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and backend application architecture.
- Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar technologies.
- Experience with NoSQL databases is a plus.
- Understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and clean code principles.
- Experience with Git and modern source control workflows.
- Experience with cloud platforms and cloud-based application development is a plus.
- Understanding of automated testing and CI/CD practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a development team.
